Recently we’ve received some generous gifts and provision that I am thankful to God for.
Last week, totally out of the blue, some dear friends gave us vouchers for groceries. It came at just the right time and was for a particularly generous amount. On top of that, today we were given a mobile phone to replace the broken ones that we couldn’t afford to replace. And while our car has been off the road, and as it goes in for repairs next week, another friend has loaned us a car while they are away.
God has been answering our prayers and providing for our needs through the kindness of those who are our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Thanks to these people too. I know all of you read our blog.
We experienced the same thing – it’s amazing how God looks after his people!

Shortly after I collapsed at work and we realised I was going to be sick long term and started the paperwork for centerlink benefits our church took up a offering during the service which was a very generous amount.
We have been the recipients of very generous people being obedient to a more than generous God.
The two that stand out for me while I was in hospital was how my wife and kids were looked after.
Once a lady from church knocked on our front door and gave my wife a steaming hot cup of hot chocolate and a hug, said hello and goodbye in the one breath, telling her that she was praying and thinking of her.
The other time was she came home late one night with the boys from hospital (9pm) and pulled a pot out to start some cooking. When she opened the fridge she found someone had come into the house and left a huge quiche in the fridge.
Gods faithfulness in providing for all our needs certainly is true.
