Reading.

On the go at the moment:

Novel: About a Boy, Nick Hornby.

Bible: Numbers, 1 Timothy, Ephesians.

College Stuff: Any paper on ‘head’ and ‘body’ in Ephesians that I can get my hands on, for an essay due in a fortnight. Today I read some fresh perspectives from Sarah Sumner’s Men and Women in the Church, some of which I think have legs. Has anyone read it? I’m pondering it at the moment.

Just finished: Confessions of a reformission rev. Mark Driscoll, An Enigmatic Life M. Cameron, Genesis, Mark, Almost French Sarah Turnbull

Novel: Between Mexico and Poland by Lily Brett, Small gods by Terry Pratchett (second time reading)

Bible: A bit of everything, but at the moment Job, Hebrews and 1 Corinthians. Have just finished Romans.

Work Stuff: Today I read my feature article 4 times, a funny profile, a boring, badly worded review and lots of press releases.

Just Finished: Holy Cow by Sarah McDonald (the second time reading), Confessions of a ref. rev. by Driscoll.

  2. John Dekker says:

Novel: Roger’s Version by John Updike, Oryx and Crake by Margarert Atwood

    Bible: Psalms, John

Theology: The Divine Spiration of Scripture, by Andrew McGowan, Biblical Games by Steven Brams, Exiles by Michael Frost

Just finished: The Messiah Formerly Known as Jesus by Tom Breen, Genes, Peoples, and Languages by Luigi Luca Cavalli-Sforza, Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson

    Total Church, Proverbs, Acts.

  4. Libby says:

Novel: well, it’s actually not a novel, but it fits this category the best – As You Like it (Shakespeare)

Bible: Isaiah (with Matt) and Romans (by myself)

Just finished: Long Way Round (Ewan MacGregor & Charley Boorman) – very entertaining and interesting. Will have to borrow the TV series I think.
