Colombian? Really? I thought I did an El Salvie and a Brazilian?

Chaff shouldn’t affect the taste – but it is one of my quibbles with the Gene. However, I do favour lighter roasts, and I need to remember I’m not normal when I roast for other people Ah well, sorry ’bout that.

Mark – Harar is a city in Ethiopia. Tasty beans indeed. Nice chocolatey aftertaste.

Michelle – they were ok – I only had some of the columbian – I found them a bit under-done for my white coffee palate, but I can imagine they would have been nice black. A fair bit of chaff was still on the beans too?
