Chaff shouldn&#039;t affect the taste - but it is one of my quibbles with the Gene. However, I do favour lighter roasts, and I need to remember I&#039;m not normal when I roast for other people ;) Ah well, sorry &#039;bout that.</description>

Michelle - they were ok - I only had some of the columbian - I found them a bit under-done for my white coffee palate, but I can imagine they would have been nice black. A fair bit of chaff was still on the beans too?</description>
