I would. I like what SC do. And if there’s an opportunity for me to give it, I will.
To make up budget for the next year Southern Cross need $180k. Or so this article says. I reckon there are easily 1799 other people who would give $100 too. As well as trying to get more advertising spend, SC should consider asking for some support from the city it serves. I mean we are Christians, and we love to be generous right?
Would you?

I mean 1800 sounds like a lot of people, but really it’s just everyone from two decent sized churches. There are some 65k Anglicans right?

I have to admit, on my list of organisations I want to give away to, SC was not near the top.
But convince me Sam

It would have to be per year as well – or at least until the recovery really kicked in…

I used to pay to subscribe to Southern Cross until I started going to an Anglican church

Craig – i’m not really saying this is the solution, I’m more just pointing out that generosity is an option they could canvas.
MJ – I gave 12k to Moore College last year and 14 this year.

Soph – sure it may not be at the very top of my generosity list, but I think a vehicle like SC which communicates to the diocese as a whole is pretty important. Maybe not of absolute importance, but worth me considering giving them a bit of cash.
