As you can see, we’re back from our three week holiday in Vietnam.
We had a fantastic time. Highlights include trekking through the mountains of Sapa; kayaking on Halong Bay; slurping pho while sitting on tiny plastic stools on the side of the road; ambling through the quaint tailoring town of Hoi An; eating the best banh xeo I’ve ever tasted and drinking red wine on top of the Rex Hotel in Saigon, imagining all the journalists who drank there before us.
Lowlights? Well there weren’t really any, unless you count visiting the War Remnants Museum (disturbing), a mild bout of food poisoning and missing Masterchef.
Anyway, below are a few photos we took, if you’re interested.
photo 18. wow.
concerning your new format: I went to the photos, would click “back” on my web browser and it would take me a page too far. Does that make sense?
I went from the photos, clicked “back” and went to a previous post I was looking at.
by “previous” I mean the one I was looking at before “we’re back”.
They are amazing photos guys… although the first one shocked me a little.
sorry adri, I know how much you love the kitties…
Hello! welcome back
Fabulous job on the photos, they’re absolutely brilliant. I can see you’re enjoying the EOS
No worries
You made up for it with the others.
Geoff – Don’t click ‘back’ to get off the photos, just click on the photo (i think) to close the photos. It’s all displayed as part of the same page I think, so it would makes sense that it took you somewhere else when you clicked back.
