About Me

I’m a Gen Y writer, married to an Anglican minister (the husband) and mother to our high spirited boy (the little man) and soon-to-be-born girl (the little lady). I used to work as a journalist; now I spend my days drinking coffee and hanging out at way too many playgrounds.

The Fountainside is where I write about the things that make life interesting: parenthood, pop culture, gender, relationships, everyday life and how people live it. I like to think of it as ‘mummy blogging with a twist’. My faith as a Christian shapes the way I see the world, so a lot of what I write is from a faith-based view point.

If you’re visiting, thanks for reading. I’d love you to leave a comment so I can come visit you online too. If you like what I do, please get in touch to see my CV and professional portfolio.

Enjoy!

xoxo Soph Russell
